Ken was born on November 1 1918 in Sutton Coldfield, Warwickshire, England and his birth name were Kenneth Henry Miles. His townhouse was is located 10 miles north of Birmingham.

He started motorcycling when he was just 11 years old. Ken used a 350cc Triumph bike during his race where he broke his nose and three teeth. Later, he came with a large motorcycle. When he was at his 15, he meet Mollie and got married to her.

Ken designed his first car at the age of 15 and painted his British green by his wife Mollie. He named the car as Nellie but during World War II, he sold out his car. After the war, he continued to design cars. The first modification done on his car later became a signature of his other designed cars.

He also served for the British territorial army for seven years but he did not leave his work for doing experiments over vehicles. He worked to recover the tanks and he has done for seven years. After a long gap, he started to work towards his dream and during that time, he also continued his studies.

He used to keep updating himself for engine technology. He installed his engine in the four-wheel-drive vehicle. According to the official sources, Ken Miles died in a tragic accident while testing the Ford J car model that was launched to compete the Ferrari models.

The car was being tested by Ken Miles before the official launching at the famous Le men race but unfortunately, the car caught the fire and Ken Miles (driver of the car) was declared dead on the spot.

The tragic incident took place on August 17, 1966, at Riverside International Raceway in Southern California. At the time, Peter Miles was just 15-years-old and the whole team expressed their condolence over the death of Ken Miles. He will be always remembered by his family, friends, team, and fans.
