Again, Bandits Kill Four, Injure One in Kaduna Community

Four people have been killed by bandits in an attack on Goska community, Jema’a Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
The incident was said to have occurred at about 4:30pm on Monday.
The Kaduna State Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Mr. Samuel Aruwan, confirmed the killings in a statement on Tuesday in Kaduna.
Aruwan said the attack was reported to the state government by security agencies.
He said the bandits invaded the community and killed four residents.
The statement said those killed included Wakili Kon, Yusuf Joshua, Martha Ayuba and Lami Peter.
According to Aruwan, “Wakili Kon and Yusuf Joshua were attacked and killed on their farms by the assailants.
“One woman, Laraba Silas, sustained gunshot injuries and was rushed to hospital.
“Governor Nasir El-Rufai expressed sadness at the reports and prayed for the repose of the souls of the residents who were brutally killed by the bandits.
“The governor sent his condolences to their families and wished the injured citizens a quick recovery.”
The statement added that security patrols were ongoing in the general area, alongside investigations into the attack.
